Is Queens accredited?
Yes. The University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Teaching and education programs at Queens, including the online Master of Educational Leadership, are accredited by the NCATE (National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education).

The online Master of Science in Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The online MBA is accredited by AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Will my diploma be different from the ones on-campus students receive?
No. Our online programs are just as challenging and rigorous as our on-campus programs. On-campus and online students receive the same diploma from Queens.

Do I have to come to campus at any point?
Queens’ online Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, Master of Arts in Communication, and Master of Science in Nursing do not have any campus attendance requirements. The online Master of Business Administration program includes 100% online coursework, however, there are two residency requirements. Whether you are required to visit campus or not, our online students are an important part of the Queens community, and you are always welcome to visit campus, meet with professors and take part in campus activities, including commencement.

Who teaches the online programs?
The same faculty members who teach on campus teach in our online programs.

Is there any support available if I need help?
Yes. The faculty and staff members at Queens are available for help when you need it. In addition to asking your instructor about assignments, you will get help from a student services advisor, and we offer 24/7 technical support.

How much time should I set aside each week for my classes?
People’s study habits vary, but in general, we recommend that you plan to spend approximately 15 to 20 hours a week per course.
