Master of Business Administration: Admission Requirements

Degree and Minimum GPAApplicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
TranscriptAll students seeking enrollment must submit official transcripts from each institution attended.
Professional Work Experience3 years of professional work experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Resume outlining your academic and professional background, as well as recognitions, honors, and awards
  • Two letters of recommendation from professional references
  • One admissions essay (contact a program manager for more details)
The Admissions Committee may request a GMAT/GRE if more information is needed to make an admission decision. Submitting a strong GMAT/GRE score could strengthen your file if you are concerned about other areas of your application.

Transfer Credit

You may transfer up to nine credit hours into the online MBA. Credits must have been earned within the past five years from a regionally accredited institution and will need to be evaluated by Queens University of Charlotte.

If, after you’ve been admitted, you’d like to gain credit for a course taken outside of Queens University, you’ll need to submit a transfer credit form prior to enrolling in the course.

Start your application or call us at 866-313-2356 to apply now for spring, summer, or fall term, and hear back in about 1-2 weeks. Completed applications can be sent to onlineinfo@queens.edu. Students can start in spring (January), summer (May), or fall (August) with priority deadlines occurring roughly four weeks prior to the start.
