Master of Arts in Communication: Admission Requirements

Degree and Minimum GPABachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred, all applications welcome.
TranscriptAll students seeking enrollment must submit official transcripts from each institution attended.
Personal StatementA written statement describing professional and personal goals and objectives.
Additional Requirements
  • Resume outlining your academic and professional background, as well as recognitions, honors, and awards
  • Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional references submitted via fax or email
  • Admission requirements are the same for the M.A. in Communication and the certificates in communication.

Transfer Credit

You may transfer in credits you’ve earned from Queens’ on-campus Master of Arts in Communication.

Students can start in spring (January), summer (May), or fall (August) with priority deadlines occurring roughly four weeks prior to the start.
