Master of Arts in Educational Leadership Online

Application requirements include:

  • Baccalaureate degree from regionally accredited institution
  • Completed Graduate Admission Application
  • Official transcripts of all post-secondary course work
  • Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.70 or better on a 4.00 scale on all post-secondary course work (minimum 2.50 GPA will be considered with official, passing GRE test scores of 150 Verbal and 150 Quantitative)
  • Written statement describing professional and personals goals
  • Two letters of professional recommendation; one from principal showing proof of at least two years teaching or school counseling experience
  • Connection to public, private or charter school to complete internship requirements

Master of Arts in Communication Online

Application requirements include:

  • A completed graduate application
  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university is required. Official transcripts of all post-secondary academic course work that demonstrate a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • No GRE required for applicants with cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Note: Applicants with a cumulative GPA below 3.0 must provide acceptable GRE scores from within the past five years (Scores before August 1, 2011: Verbal 500/Quantitative 410/Analytical 4.0. Scores after August 1, 2011: Verbal 153/Quantitative 140/Analytical 4.0). Applicants with greater than five years of professional work experience may appeal the GRE requirement
  • A written statement describing professional and personal goals and objectives. For more information, read the Personal Statement Guidelines.
  • Two letters of academic or professional reference submitted via fax or email
  • Resume outlining academic and professional background and recognitions, honors and awards

Master of Science in Nursing Online

Application requirements include:

  • A completed graduate application
  • Official transcripts of all post-secondary academic coursework, indicating evidence of:
    • A BSN degree earned at a regionally accredited institution and nursing program accredited by NLNAC or CCNE. RNs with other bachelor’s degrees will be considered on an individual basis.
    • Applicants will be considered for full admission if the following requirement is met:
      • Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Evidence of a current unrestricted license to practice nursing in the state in which you will complete any practicum requirements of the program
  • No GRE required

Master of Business Administration Online

Application requirements include:

  • Completed graduate application
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  • One admissions essay (contact a program manager for more details)
  • Two letters of academic or professional reference
  • Resume outlining academic and professional background and recognitions, honors, and awards
  • Official GMAT/GRE scores (you may be eligible for a GMAT/GRE waiver; see below for details)

Criteria for waiving the GMAT/GRE:

  • At least 7 years of full-time, relevant work experience; or
  • At least 3 years of full-time, relevant work experience, and an undergraduate GPA above 3.0, specifically in quantitative courses; or
  • A professional certification such as a CPA or CFP; or
  • A relevant master’s, PhD, or terminal degree such as a JD or MD

Master of Health Administration Online

In order to be admitted into Queens University of Charlotte’s online Master of Health Administration program, you must meet the following criteria outlined below.

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or equivalent from an international college or university
  • An undergraduate GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 grading scale
  • The equivalent of two years prior experience in a healthcare organization
  • Complete graduate school application
  • All official transcripts from previous institutions
  • Two letters of reference from people capable of evaluating educational background and work experience or personal character
  • Resume and career statement with career goals

Probational Admission:

Students who do not meet the criteria for Full Admission to the MHA program, will be considered for Probational Admission with the following criteria:

  • A cumulative GPA of 2.50 to 2.99 AND
  • 5 years healthcare management experience including supervisory responsibility and/or budget responsibility

After earning a grade of B or higher in the first two MHA courses, students will be converted to Full Admission.
