Software and Hardware Requirements

In addition to a high-speed or broadband internet connection, you’ll want to make sure your devices meet these minimum requirements:

Additional NotesYou may use the Linux operating system as an alternative to Mac OS or Windows. Other hardware and software requirements include:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 2010 or higher. All Queens online students receive access to Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus.
A webcam and a microphone may be required for some courses that include web conferences or presentations.

Accessing Queens From a Mobile Device

Queens University of Charlotte offers easy access to your coursework and online learning platforms from your mobile device. We do recommend access to a personal computer for coursework and other activities. Not all mobile devices are compatible.
